SHHHHHH. IS SHE WEARING A WIG?

Yes, we need to start talking about hair loss. Somehow in our societal decision to embrace bodies of every shape, size, and gender we lost the ability to talk about our hair (or lack thereof).

Checking out data posted online, the numbers are nearly 50% of women and 80% of men will experience hair loss during their lives. Whether it is temporary or permanent, we don't talk about hair-loss in a way that allows people to be vulnerable about this topic in public.

Yes, some men will proudly go bald. But this is so incredibly rare to see a woman also enjoying a bald head.

Just like everything difficult topic: Let's talk about it. Let's normalize it. Let's remove shame.

It's just hair. I promise that. But I also promise that it took me years to feel that way, and I still don't feel that way all the time.
